Costa Rica

In 1999-2000, during the months of December and January I traveled through this lively and colorful country. This was trip filled with new experiences, beggining with an unsuccseful surfing trial in Puerto Viejo in the Caribean, to spectacular lava sights at Volcan Arenal, up to watching hundreds of 360kg Leatherback turtles laying their eggs in Ostional beach in the Pacific coast.
